OPPO unveils new generative AI technology at Google I/O Connect China 2024

New AI Features Introduced

OPPO presented several new AI features at Google I/O Connect China:

• AI Recording Summary: This feature identifies and extracts key information from multi-speaker recordings, providing concise summaries of meetings and improving productivity.
• AI Toolbox: This includes AI Summary, AI Writer, and AI Speak, which streamline reading, content creation, and hands-free operations. These tools are integrated into the ColorOS smart sidebar for easy access.

These features are available in the new ColorOS 14 and the OPPO Reno12 series.

Commitment to AI Integration

OPPO aims to integrate generative AI into around 50 million devices by the end of the year, including the upcoming Find X7 flagship series. The company focuses on four main AI characteristics: efficient computing, real-world perception, self-learning, and creativity.

The brand also plans to enhance AI phone experiences through continuous innovation and collaboration with industry leaders like Google. The company’s goal is to lead the smartphone market into a new era of AI integration, providing users with advanced productivity and creative tools.
