Apple has launched its all-new Mac mini. It has been redesigned and has become smaller and inside, it has the latest M4 and M4 Pro chips. The new design is more compact and it can fit in a 5″ x 5″ frame. The redesign also means new ports and thanks to its chips, we also have Apple Intelligence inside.
Mac Mini M4 and M4 Pro: Compact Design with Big Power
The new Mac mini is powered by M4 and M4 Pro chips. It offers up to 1.8x faster CPU and 2.2x faster GPU performance than the M1 model and for professionals, the Mac mini M4 Pro is the one for them. It features a 14-core CPU with 10 performance and 4 efficiency cores, plus a 20-core GPU. The new Mac Mini also supports up to 64GB of unified memory.
Thunderbolt 5 Connectivity and Display Support
The Mac mini introduces Thunderbolt 5 on the M4 Pro model, delivering speeds up to 120 Gb/s—more than double Thunderbolt 4’s capabilities. On the front, the Mac mini features a 2x USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack while on the back, it features the 3x Thunderbolt ports, HDMI, Ethernet and the power cable port.
Apple Intelligence inside
The Mac mini also includes Apple Intelligence, a personal AI system from Apple that integrates seamlessly into macOS. It provides features such as Writing Tools for proofreading, summarizing, and rewriting text.
