Sony has just unveiled their newest console that brings a faster GPU, AI upscaling, and more advanced ray tracing. This new console from Sony will provide better graphics at a higher frame rate.
The Upgraded GPU will bring 67% more compute points vs. the current PS5 and 28% faster memory. This will bring in 45% faster rendering for gameplay. The advanced ray tracing will be more powerful and it will provide more dynamic reflection and refraction of light. While AI-Driven upscaling introduces PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, an AI-driven upscaling that uses machine learning technology to sharpen image and provide more detail.
We can expect that the PS5 Pro will come with the PS5 Pro Game Boost in where it is compatible with 8,500 PS4 games playable on the Ps5 Pro. This feature brings improved performance and it also enhances the image quality of these PS4 games.The new PS5 Pro also brings in technologies such as WiFi 7, VRR, and 8K gaming.
Several games will be patched with a free software updates for gamers that will takee advantage of the new PS5 Pro features. These games includes Alan Wake 2, Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, Demon’s Souls, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Gran Turismo 7, Hogwarts Legacy, Horizon Forbidden West, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, The Crew Motorfest, The First Descendant, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, and more.
