realme intros world’s fastest 320W SuperSonic Charge

realme has announced its latest advancement in charging technology with the introduction of the 320W SuperSonic Charge. This new technology sets a new industry standard by offering the fastest charging speeds available, enabling a smartphone to reach full charge in just 4 minutes and 30 seconds.

Breakthrough Charging Speed

The 320W SuperSonic Charge surpasses the previous record of 240W set by realme GT3 in February 2023. The new charger can power a device to 26% in one minute and over 50% in less than two minutes. This technology was unveiled at realme’s headquarters in Shenzhen, where over 100 media and industry professionals witnessed the launch.

Realme has also developed several key innovations to support the 320W SuperSonic Charge:

• Folded Battery: Realme has introduced the world’s first folded battery for smartphones, with a 4420mAh capacity. This design uses four thin cells to achieve higher capacity while maintaining a compact size, allowing for faster charging without compromising on form factor.
• AirGap Voltage Transformer: This new safety technology uses electromagnetic conversion to isolate high voltage from the battery in case of faults, ensuring a safer charging process. The transformer is compact, reducing voltage to 20V and achieving a power efficiency of about 98%.

Meanwhile, the 320W SuperSonic Charger also features a high power density of 3.3W per cubic centimeter. It supports a range of charging protocols, including UFCS, PD, and SuperVOOC, making it compatible with various devices. The charger includes dual USB-C outputs for simultaneous fast charging of phones and laptops.

New Technologies in Mobile Innovation

In addition to fast charging, realme is also rolling out six new technologies:

• Solid-State Button: The first of its kind, this button offers tactile controls for instant zoom and rapid snapshots.
• Anti-Reflective Display: Inspired by moth eye structures, this display reduces screen glare by up to 80%.
• AI Motion Picture: Converts single images into 25-frame videos to enhance visual storytelling.
• AI Gaming Super Resolution: Provides smoother visuals and customizable haptics for gaming.
• Realme Holo Audio: Enhances sound positioning to avoid interruptions during gaming.
