Virtual Reality or VR is the next thing in gaming and if you didn’t know yet, Sony has introduced Project Morpheus last year. It’s a virtual reality headset that is designed for the Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita however, Project Morpheus is still in-development but the latest prototype was unveiled in GDC 2015 at San Francisco.
The new prototype of the Project Morpheus features a 5.7-inch 1920×1080 OLED display that gives less motion blur and flicker which is great because it tends to give us less headache when using the VR headset and yes, there’s a 120 fps output thanks to the power of the PS4 and the high refresh rate of the OLED display. The new Project Morpheus is also more accurate and it has reduced the latency of the VR headset to the rendering of the display. That’s an awesome upgrade since latency is one crucial thing when it comes to gaming.
Project Morpheus is expected to be developed and it is expected to be launched in the first half of 2016
