Paymaya rebrands to Maya; offers users a chance to win Php1M worth of bitcoin

PayMaya has rebranded to Maya, now offering users an all-in-one money app.

With this latest development, Maya now allows users powerful e-wallet features, including crypto and an innovative digital banking experience powered by Maya Bank. This enables consumers to spend, save, grow, invest, and manage money through a smartphone.

Here are the new offerings of Maya:

• Maya Savings – it provides users a high-yield savings account with a 6% introductory interest rate. it is the highest rate offered by a local bank today. The offer will be available until August 31, 2022. In addition, it is powered by the BSP-licensed digital bank Maya Bank, enabling users to enjoy a seamless experience in-app when saving money. To access this feature, users must upgrade their Maya account.
• Maya Credit – it is a virtual credit line that lets users borrow up to Php15,000 within the app.
• Maya Crypto – through this feature, users can buy, hold, and sell popular coins, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Tether, and more, for as low as Php1.
• Maya Wallet – meanwhile, users can continue to have all the e-wallet features of PayMaya.
