ASUS Transformer Book Flip launched!, starts at P26,995

ASUS Transformer Book Flip has been recently launched and it is a very interesting one because it comes in 13.3” and 15.6” display with a hinge that can set your display for up to 360 degrees while the other one is the refresh of ASUS Transformer Book T100. It now sports a faster processor, more colors options and a better storage.

I already reviewed the ASUS Transformer Book T100 before here. The ASUS Transformer Book T100 that I’m using right now has a 1.33 GHz Quad-Core Intel Atom processor and a 64GB storage. The new ASUS Transformer Book T100 Multi-Color now comes with a much faster 1.44 GHz Intel Quad-Core Z3775 processor and a 64GB+500GB storage.

The new ASUS Transformer Book T100 now also comes in white and red option. Unlike the first ASUS Transformer Book T100, the red and white ASUS Transformer Book T100 now sports a textured back instead of the glossy one. That change made the hybrid laptop more solid and more comfortable to hold. If you’re using the ASUS Transfomer Book T100 64GB like me, you’ll notice that the keyboard dock got thicker because of the built-in 500GB HDD in it. 

Just like its first generation brother, this one will also come with a free MS Office 2013 and an unlimited ASUS Webstorage for 1 year. The ASUS Transformer Book T100 is available in red, white and gray w/ SRP of PP23,995. The first generation ASUS Transformer Book T100 will be discontinued.

This is the latest ASUS laptop to arrive in the Philippines. The ASUS Transformer Book Flip has a hinge that you can rotate for up to 360 degrees.  That feature lets you do 4 modes on the laptop. You could use it as a normal laptop when you’re doing your school works, shared viewer when you’re sharing a presentation, tablet mode when playing Windows 8 games or media stand for watching movies and browsing pictures. So yeah, you can adjust the ASUS Transformer Book Flip depending on your needs.

The ASUS Transformer Book Flip is also powerful thanks to the  Intel Core processor inside it. The entry level ASUS Transformer Book Flip comes with an Intel Core i3-4010U processor with Intel HD 4400 graphics while the most expensive one comes with an Intel Core i7-4510U processor with an Nvidia graphics. I’m pretty confident that this laptop could run most games that you want if you’re getting the one with Nvidia graphics.
