The Infinix ZERO Ultra boasts impressive specifications and a sexy design. In this review, we will take a deep dive into its features and functions, examining everything from its design to its performance, camera, and battery life.

Design

The Infinix ZERO Ultra is a beautiful phone that has a premium feel. It has a glass front and back with a metal frame that gives it a sturdy and durable feel. The phone is easy to hold and use.

The thickness of the smartphone and its weight feels just right and I love the combination of the materials used on the smartphone. Aside from that, I do like the textured back design of the smartphone.

Below the smartphone is the USB-C port and also the speaker grill and boy, there’s the 180W charging which is INSANELY FAST. Never thought that I could fully charge the smartphone in just a few minutes with this smartphone. In just less than 20 minutes, we were able to fully charge the smartphone.

Display

The front of the phone has a 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, which makes scrolling through apps and browsing the web feel smooth and effortless. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner on the side, which is quick and responsive.

It’s a curved display as well which makes it more ergonomic, easy on the eyes, and also it also makes the smartphone looks like it has less bezels. The large size of the smartphone makes it perfect for work, multimedia consumption and a lot more.

But that curved display of the smartphone really annoys me as I get to have accidental touches most of the time with its curved sides. It never bugged me as much as the Infinix Zero Ultra did.

Under that display is the in-display fingerprint scanner and honestly, i was fine with it as it was fast and seamless.

Battery Life

DSC

The Infinix ZERO Ultra comes with a 4500mAh battery, which provides average battery life. In PC Mark Work 2.0 battery test, we got a score of 10 hours and 55 minutes. Just an average score for the hardware that we’re getting.

It’s not bad nor it’s not great either. Depending on your usage, the smartphone can last up to evening or even a whole day of work usage but normally, it didn’t reach up to the next day. But again, there’s the ultra fast charging on the smartphone so I really didn’t had any problem with its battery.

Software and Performance

DSC

The Infinix ZERO Ultra runs on Android 12 with Infinix’s XOS skin. The XOS skin in this smartphone is well-designed and offers a clean and simple user interface. The colors are also easy on the eyes. The apps were also less bloatwares and it was userfriendly.

As for the performance, the smartphone features a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor inside with 8GB of RAM and also 256GB of storage. It performed as expected in the benchmarks along with the other smartphones with the same processor.

As for gaming, it was nice and smooth with Call of Duty Mobile, Mobile Legends and for Genshin Impact, You’ll have to set it at the low to mid settings to enjoy the game

Camera

DSC

The Infinix ZERO Ultra has a triple camera setup on the back with the main 200MP main camera on the smartphone along with the 13MP ultrawide and 2MP lens. The 200MP main camera of the smartphone isn’t the best we’ve seen. The numbers are great but definitely not the greatest in terms of quality.

At low light in Auto, we find it soft but brighter than expected. However when using night mode, it was a lot better. The ultrawide camera of the smartphone is a little bit soft as well but the main camera of the smartphone produces pretty sharp and color-accurate when shooting at decent lighting conditions.

Verdict

The Infinix Zero Ultra is a pretty good smartphone. The smartphone features an ultra-fast charging, a great design and the performance of the smartphone was really fine.

It might lack some features and it’s not the perfect smartphone but it’s definitely a looker from Infinix and a great head start for the brand to get in its price range.
