Electronic Arts have just announced that the Apex Legends Mobile will be available in regional beta tests later this month and the Philippines is one of the two countries that will get to experience the game first.
Apex Legends Mobile will be designed for touchscreen devices with controls that are optimized for mobile devices and it will still be in a battle royale genre just like the desktop version. According to EA, Apex Legends Mobile will be true to the original.
They’ve also confirmed that Apex Legends Mobile will be a free-to-play game and it will also feature its own Battle Passes, cosmetics, and unlockables that can be found on the PC and console version of Apex Legends. Since this specifically built for mobile, the game won’t feature cross-play with the console and PC versions of Apex Legends.
Apex Legends Mobile will start in a series of tests. EA will start their closed beta tests in India and the Philippines and it will initially be available to Android devices only for testing. They’ll expand the tests, regions, and implement iOS support in the near future.
