Xiaomi has unveiled their newest generation of Mi Pad today and it sports a processing power that can’t be found on most Android tablets today. The all-new Xiaomi Mi Pad now runs on the latest generation 64-bit Intel Atom X5-Z8500 processor and it now sports a sleek and thinner design with a full metal body which will surely make the feel of the tablet premium. It will still have the same 7.9-inch display but this one would have a juicy 6190mAh battery and a USB Type-C port.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 Specs
- 7.9-inch 2048×1536 Display
- 2.24GHz 64-Bit Intel Atom X5-Z8500 with Intel HD Graphics
- 2GB LPDDR3 Dual-Channel RAM
- 16GB/64GB storage
- 8 Megapixel Rear Camera
- 5 Megapixel Front Camera
- USB Type-C
One thing that I don’t like with the Xiaomi Mi Pad is its starting storage which is just at 16GB and the RAM which is too small for a tablet like this. Anyway, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 will start at RMB 999 for the 16GB variant and RMB 1299 for the 64GB variant. Those prices translates to P7,400 and P9,600 respectively. But of course, if our country will be getting these smartphones, we will surely have a higher price than the announced SRP.
for P7,400, a powerful processor, powerful rear and front cameras and 16 gigabytes of storage, what else can you ask for…
