Xiaomi has just launched their newest smartphone in the Philippines, the Redmi A3. It’s the company’s newest entry-level smartphone at just Php3,399.
The Redmi A3 comes in different color options like Midnight Black with a starry effect, Star Blue with a rainbow-like sheen, and a smudge-resistant Forest Green variant featuring a leather-textured matte finish.
One of the key highlights of the smartphone is the 6.71-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Redmi A3 sports an AI-powered dual camera system led by an 8MP main sensor and another lens for portrait shots. The front camera is a 5MP shooter with beautification features and a soft ring light for improved selfies in low light.
The Redmi A3 also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C charging port. It is powered by 5000mAh battery. While for the processor, it comes with a Helio G36 processor from MediaTek.
The Redmi A3 will be available in two configurations: a 3GB+64GB model priced at PHP 3,399 and a 4GB+128GB variant for PHP 3,999 . Pre-orders are open until April 27th, with a Xiaomi Basic Piston Earphone freebie for early buyers and a 3-month Viu Premium subscription for offline purchases. The first day of sales will be on April 26th at authorized Xiaomi stores nationwide.
