This is the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge

We were invited by Samsung Philippines to witness the launch of their newest flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S6. The design and hardware inside it is a big leap from their previous smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S5. Their newest flagship smartphone packs a lot of new features including a brand new design with metal build and an amazing processor.

Aside from the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edgem they’ve also unveiled their newest service, Samsung Pay which will counter Apple Pay. Samsung is also proud that their UI is now simpler and it is now lag-free. The new UI also sports some simple but cool features like colors on contacts and shortcuts. Some of the cool features that you can see on the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are the new design, bright camera, super and wireless charging, better technology, mobile payment and enhanced security.

The new design of the Samsung Galaxy S6 combines the beauty of glass and metal and according to them, this one won’t bend compared to the iPhone 6 Plus because the metal that was used in this smartphone is stronger than other flagship smartphones.  The new camera performs really well especially at low-light and no, they’ve improved both the front and rear camera of the Samsung Galaxy S6.

One of the biggest features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was fast charging and at Samsung Galaxy S6, they’ve improved it and when you charged your Samsung Galaxy S6 for 10 minutes, you could use your Samsung Galaxy S6 for 4 hours. That’s pretty cool, right? Not only that, wireless charger is already built-in the Samsung Galaxy S6. But unfortunately, the battery is non-removable. Samsung is also proud that their newest smartphone is thin and light at 6.8mm and (138g /132g edge) respectively.  This one also uses an LPDDR4 memory system and a 14nm 64-bit processor.

And yes folks, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are beautiful. The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will be available globally starting from April 10, 2015 with 32/64/128GB storage options available in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, Blue Topaz (Galaxy S6 only) and Green Emerald (Galaxy S6 edge only).
