Sony unveils the Alpha 7CR, 7C II, and GM2 Series, gets priced in the Philippines

Sony has just unveiled their newest addition to the Alpha family and it’s the Alpha 7C II and the Alpha 7 CR. There’s also another lens that is addition to the family and it’s the G Master FE 16-35MM F2.8 GM II.

The Alpha 7C II is the successor of the Alpha 7C which was lauded for its size, portability and its power. It comes with a full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor with a 33 MP and BIONZ XR Image Processing Engine to give a better images and videos.

Compared to the Alpha 7 IV, the Alpha 7C II will give a 22% lighter body and also a 45% less volume. The ISO sensitivities ranges from 100 to 51200 on both images and movies which will enable a high-sensitivity and noise-free shooting on the camera

While the Alpha 7CR will come with a full-size image sensor with 61MP which is the same sensor that we can find on the Alpha 7R V but this time, it comes in a compact and lightweight body. At its core is the Pixel Shift Multi Shooting feature, enhanced by the Exmor R CMOS sensor and the BIONZ XR image processing engine.

Both models comes with the powerful AI-processing unit and BIONZ XR processors which can be seen in top-tier cameras like the Alpha 7R V and Alpha 6700, paving the way for Real-time Recognition AF and 5-axis in-body image stabilization. When it comes to video, these cameras are adept at high-quality 4K video output.

G-Master FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM II

The G Master the FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM II uses the advanced capabilities of Sony’s top-tier camera bodies. It features Sony’s original Nano AR Coating II and XD (extreme dynamic) linear motors, the lens brings high-speed drive to the table. The lens also offers comfortable operability and amazing still image and movie shooting performance.

The lens has reduced the focus breathing during video recording compared to the previous models and it now possible to get a high quality image expression without fluctuations in the angle of view. features such as aperture ring that can be clicked on/off with a switch and the two focus hold buttons adds to the better operability of the lens.
