A new batch of renders from CAD files from @onleaks offers a closer look at the upcoming device. The newly surfaced renders showcase the folder-shaped external display on the Galaxy Z Flip5 and a flatter side frame compared to the current Flip4 design. The camera alignment has also shifted to a horizontal orientation, accommodating the new outer display shape.
The renders also hint at a revamped hinge design, with a nearly invisible gap between the two halves of the phone. The hinge appears flatter, potentially explaining Samsung’s decision to opt for a flat frame this time around.
While further details on the Galaxy Z Flip5’s official specifications and release date remain under wraps, these latest images provide a compelling look at the design evolution of Samsung’s next-generation foldable smartphone and its outer display is definitely exciting to see.
