I’m a big fan of 2-in-1 devices especially the Microsoft Surface Pro series and whenever I see one, I always look at it and take a short hands-on of it and recently, I was surprised that the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S is now available in the Philippines. This is a Windows 10 tablet that packs an Intel Core M3 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a vivid Super AMOLED display. This tablet aims to compete against the iPad Pro and the Surface Pro which are very popular tablets as they can replace laptops because of their processing power.

I played with the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S for a while and I’m quite impressed with its design. Why? Because for a Windows 10 PC with a Core M3 processor, this one is very thin and light. The build is solid too but it doesn’t come with a kickstand like the Surface Pro.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S relies on the keyboard cover for its stand and there are only a few available angles for the stand. Speaking of the keyboard cover, the keys aren’t isolated which will be harder and will take some time to get used to and then there’s a small touchpad in the keyboard cover too.
Again, the 2-in-1 tablet is really thin and light and it only comes with a single USB Type-C port but thankfully, the Multi-port adapter is already included in the box so you won’t have a problem connecting your tablet to USB Type-A and also to HDMI.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S is P55,990 but I guess it’s worth it considering that you get a Super AMOLED display on this one and also a thin and light design. Not only that, the tablet comes with LTE too and a multi-port adapter. This 2-in-1 device is exclusively available in Samsung Experience Stores and other stores.
