Microsoft is in a new era now as the company has just unveiled their Copilot+ PCs with the Surface Pro and the Surface Laptop headlining the Copilot+ PC line.
The Copilot+ PC aims to topple the Mac line with the M3 chip and the iPad Pro with M4 chip inside as Copilot+ PCs requires to have an NPU with 40 TOPS inside for AI performance and it must also have a 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage at the minimum. The Copilot+ PC can run AI processes locally and Microsoft will work with several partners including AMD, Intel and Qualcomm to make this happen.
However, the new Surface Pro and the Surface Laptops are both running on Snapdragon X Elite chipsets with the Surface Laptop coming in at 13.8-inch 15-inch display sizes and can go up to 32GB RAM and 1TB of SSD while the Surface Pro comes with 13″ display with the new Surface Flex Keyboard that you can use even it is not plugged to Surface Pro.
