HONOR has just unveiled their latest foldable smartphone in China and it’s the HONOR Magic V2. The smartphone is currently the slimmest foldable smartphone to date at 9.9mm and it’s pretty lightweight as well at 231g.
The HONOR Magic V2 comes with Super-light Titanium Hinge, a first for the industry, which expertly balances weight with strength. The hinge’s main body comprises HONOR’s SGS-certified proprietary steel, which imparts enhanced durability and strength. Its robust design has earned it an SGS certification, affirming the hinge’s capability to withstand over 400,000 folds. This translates to a product lifespan of up to a decade for consumers folding it an average of 100 times per day.
The HONOR Magic V2 comes with a 7.92-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2156 x 2344 and also a 120Hz refresh rate and then there’s the 6.43-inch cover display with 10-bit OLED panel at 2376 x 1060 that also supports stylus input.
The smartphone is running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and it also comes with an up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage while the Ultra version of the smartphone comes with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
For the camera, the HONOR Magic V2 comes with 50MP main camera along with 50MP Ultrawide camera and 20MP telephoto lens. The smartphone comes with 5000mAh battery and also a 66W of charging speed. It also runs on MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13.
