Cherry Mobile MAIA series running on Intel processors launched!

We know that Cherry Mobile will be releasing an Intel device with the MAIA series and today, Cherry  Mobile has officially announced their newest devices with Intel processors on board. There are two tablets that were introduced and a smartphone running on Intel Sofia. One of the tablets is really interesting because not only because it packs an Intel processor but also because this tablet runs both Android and Windows 8.1. You heard that right folks, you can now run both Android and Windows on the Cherry Mobile Maia Smart Tab.

But first, let’s talk about the smartphone that runs on Intel processor. The Cherry Mobile Maia Fone i4 is an affordable smartphone that runs on Intel Atom X3 which is a member of the Sofia family. Cherry Mobile Maia Fone i4 packs an entry-level specifications which is not surprising for a smartphone with an affordable price. The Cherry Mobile Maia Fone i4 packs a 1 GHz 64-bit Intel Atom-X3 processor, 4GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 64GB, a 512MB RAM, 2MP Rear camera and 0.3MP front camera, Dual-Sim, 1350mAh battery and it is running on Android 4.4 Kitkat. This is an affordable smartphone and it will only cost you P1,999. It’s really great for first time smartphone users.

The Cherry Mobile MAIA Pad packs an Intel Atom-X3 processor which is Intel’s entry-level offering for mobile processors, 7-inch 1024×600 display which is very common to most entry level tablets, 8GB ROM expandable up to 32GB, 1GB RAM, 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, Dual SIM, 2800mAh battery, and Android 4.4.4 Kitkat. This is probably the reason why we gathered in this event. Intel and Cherry Mobile is proud of their newest product, the Cherry Mobile MAIA Smart Pad. This tablet packs an Intel Atom Z3735F Quad-Core Processor, 8-inch HD display, 32GB of Internal storage expandable up to 64GB, 2GB of RAM, 5MP Camera, 2MP Front Camera, 3800mAh Battery and Smart Boot which brings Android Kitkat 4.4 and Windows 8.1 in one device! Yes, you can run Windows applications and games such as Microsoft Office and Warcraft 3 if you’re on Windows mode.

Switching to another OS on the Cherry Mobile MAIA Smart Pad is really easy and it won’t take much time switching. However, the tablet needs to restart to switch to another OS.
