Cherry Mobile Flare 4, S4, & S4 Plus Launch! Here’s our hands-on!

Cherry Mobile has recently announced their newest smartphones today and these the next smartphones that belongs to the popular Flare series of the brand and these are the Cherry Mobile Flare, Flare S4, and Flare S4 Plus. Yes, there are three new smartphones that were launched today by Cherry Mobile.

Cherry Mobile Flare 4 and Flare S4

This is the direct successor of the Cherry Mobile Flare 3 and Flare S4 and it has evolved and this time, it now features a metal frame with a more rounded and chic design. Its design is probably one of the best in its series. Actually, the first thing you’ll is its sexy and curvy design. Gone are the familiar looks of the flare series on this one and it is now replaced by a sexier and a look that somehow resembles the iPhone 6.

But of course, the Cherry Mobile Flare 4 and Cherry Mobile Flare S4 doesn’t just have the looks but it also got some brains that’ll be able to kick some ass in its price range. The Cherry Mobile Flare 4 got a 1.3GHZ MT6753 Octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM and this time, it will have LTE and 16GB of internal storage expandable to 32GB for your media and gaming needs. For selfie lovers, you would be happy to know that these smartphones pack a 13-Megapixel Rear camera and a 5-Megapixel Front Camera. The battery of these smartphones are rated at 2100mAh.

The Cherry Mobile Flare S4 is its brother with a different look with the same specifications. This one got a more masculine design and a textured back but of course, this smartphone still got the metallic build and a premium looking design. Again, the Flare S4 is one of the best in the series when it comes to design. Oh and don’t worry about whether the Flare S4 and Flare 4 because both smartphones pack the same specifications except for its looks. And oh, these smartphones are now running on Android 5.1.

Cherry Mobile Flare S4 Plus

This is probably the shocker today. The Cherry Mobile Flare S4 Plus, a bigger phablet version of the Flare series was announced today. It just makes sense that they release a smartphone with a 5.5-inch display because 5-inch displays are becoming a norm today and 5.5-inch and up displays are getting more affordable and handier than ever.

Naming this smartphone as the Flare S4 Plus doesn’t mean that this smartphone would have the same specifications of its little brothers. Actually, the Cherry Mobile Flare S4 Plus is far more powerful and better than its smaller brothers. And just like its smaller brothers, the Cherry Mobile Flare S4 Plus would have a metallic body and chamfered edges which makes the smartphone not only look good but they also feel good in the hand. Actually, this is one of my favorite Cherry Mobile smartphones thanks to its metallic body.

The Cherry Mobile Flare S4 Plus packs an 1.3GHz MT6753 octa-core processor, a bigger 3GB of RAM, 5.5-inch of Full HD OGS IPS display, LTE, z16GB Storage expandable up to 64GB, 16-Megapixel BSI Camera and a 5-Megapixel Front Camera. The Cherry Mobile Flare S4 Plus also packs a 2800mAh battery which is satisfying on the white paper.

The Cherry Mobile Flare S4 Plus will retail for P7,999. Not bad for a phablet with this hardware.
