ASUS has just announced their newest devices here in Taiwan. Starting with their newest notebooks that are set to compete against the iPad Pro and the Surface Pro and yes, they have some interesting features and accessories that its competitors doesn’t have
The first device that was announced at the ASUS event is the ASUS Zenbook 3. The ASUS Zenbook 3 is a 2-in-1 hybrid that comes with a powerful hardware and a thinner design compared to the Surface Pro and of course, this one comes with a hinge design just like the Surface Pro series.
But unlike other tablets, the ASUS Transformer 3 Pro is a powerful device thanks to its ability to use the different accessories including the ASUS Pen, Expansion Dock, Audio Pod, and the XG Station 2 which allows you to have an external graphics dock to play 3D heavy games on the tablet.
While the ASUS Transformer 3 aims to redefine the 2-in-1 segment with its affordable pricing. The ASUS Transformer 3 will also be powered by the 7th Gen Intel Core processors which aren’t out yet but it will still be versatile just like the ASUS Transformer 3 Pro because it will allow you to use different accessories such as ASUS Pen, XG Station 2, Expansion Dock and Audio Pod.
However, the ASUS Transformer 3 is only up to 8GB of RAM and there’s only a single USB Type-C port compared to the Transformer 3 Pro’s up to 16GB of RAM and its availability of different ports.
The ASUS Transformer 3 Pro will start at $999 while the ASUS Transformer 3 will start at $799 and both devices will come with the keyboard.
