Apple has just introduced the newest Apple Watch Series 9, their newest wearable device. It packs a faster and better S9 SiP inside which will deliver new features as well including double tap gesture, neural engine and many more.
New S9 SiP
When it comes to performance, the custom Apple Silicon in the S9 SiP of the Apple Watch delivers performance upgrades and improvements. It allows for the double tap gesture and also on-device Siri so you can use voice control without internet. There’s 4-core Neural Engine as well along with the 18 hours battery life
Double Tap Gesture
The double tap gesture is the newest input action for the Apple Watch. Apple Watch users can now tap their index finger and their thumb of their watch hand together and there’s no need to touch the display.
You can use it for for the primary button on any app and it can be used to stop a timer, play and pause music or even snooze an alarm.
Brighter display
The Apple Watch Series 9 will also feature better display with an up to 2000 nits of brightness which is double of the previous generation and then there’s the 1 nit of brightness as well at low light conditions.
Other features
Other features that we can expect from the Apple Watch Series 9 includes On-Device Siri and Precision finding thanks to the Ultra Wideband Chip inside it so you can enable Precision finding on the Apple Watch.
The Apple Watch Series 9 will be available in 41mm and 45mm in Starlight, midnight, silver, (PRODUCT)RED, and pink aluminum case while the stainless steel will come in gold, silver, and graphite cases.
