Not only that we visited Qian An Electronics Co., the company behind the chargers of Cherry Mobile but we also visited the company who makes the batteries of Cherry Mobile, CKY Electronics. We saw how the batteries are made and we also saw the difference between the original and fake Cherry Mobile batteries.
At CKY electronics, we saw how the batteries of Cherry Mobile smartphones are made. Unlike the chargers, the process of making the battery of Cherry Mobile smartphones aren’t as complicated as we thought but on this trip, we learn the danger of using a fake battery compared to the original ones.
The biggest feature that sets apart the original batteries from the fake ones is the IC or the integrated chip inside the battery. Yes, there’s a small board inside the battery which manages the safety of your battery. This IC saves your battery from exploding, overcharging, and, damages on your smartphone. The fake ones don’t have this and it’s really dangerous because, without this IC, the battery is prone to damages even when you just connected the positive and the negative ports directly of the battery.
The board on the original batteries are separated from the battery itself with a hard plastic which means that the board won’t touch the chemicals inside the battery while the fake batteries are only separated by a foam or worse, none at all.
Both fake and original batteries might fit on your smartphone perfectly but fake batteries don’t give you the right capacity because those batteries from the fake ones are encased in a frame to make the battery fit on your smartphone. Yes, smaller battery size means smaller capacity.
Inside of the battery is something to be taken seriously and with Cherry Mobile, they’re using Japanese technology for their batteries to make it sure that your batteries are safe and sound. Inside the batteries is where you can find the positive and negative films of the battery which should be separated to avoid chemical reactions.
Original Cherry Mobile batteries are using thick white films to avoid this chemical reaction while the fake ones do not. These components on the battery are very crucial to have as they avoid chemical reactions on your battery.

Basically, this article teaches that we should really spend for the accessories of our devices especially batteries. Why? Because batteries are a very crucial part of our smartphone and in case there’s a problem with your batteries, there’s a big possibility that you might break your device too.

jam, wag kayo basta maniwala jan, palabas lang yang mga yan, kumbaga propaganda para matakot ka. bili ka ng peke at butasan mo kung sasabog. sigurado ako, hindi kasi ginagawa ko na yang dati pa sa mga lumang baterya. sa low capacity, sangayon ako. may mga plastic talaga para magmukhang malaki. dun naman sa kinti ang ic, kahit baterya ng nokia na orig, di ganyan karami ang ic. isa pa, di naman lahat ng phone ng cherry may mabibiling orig. ano gagawin mo? itatapon na lang pag walang orig na baterya?
