Vivo NEX A & NEX S Unveiled: Full Screen Displays with Periscope-like front camera

Vivo has finally unveiled their most awaited smartphone — the Vivo NEX A and the Vivo NEX S. Both smartphones will sport an Ultra FullView Display as they call it with a whopping 6.59-inch display with 91.24% screen-to-body ratio. The display aspect ratio is kinda odd at 19.3:9 with a resolution of FHD+ (2316×1080).

The Vivo NEX S will be the more powerful variant and it will also sport an under-display fingerprint scanner while the Vivo NEX A will be the more affordable one with a slower Snapdragon 710 processor and also a fingerprint scanner that is placed at the back of the smartphone instead of the under display fingerprint scanner. Both smartphones also lose the notch and also now sport a full-screen display thanks to the periscope-like front camera of the smartphone.

Those are definitely a flagship hardware inside for the NEX S while the NEX A is the more affordable variant with a fingerprint scanner at the back instead to make it cheaper and also a slower Snapdragon 710 Processor.

I really applaud Vivo that they are innovating on removing the notch for their smartphones. However, I’m worried with the camera’s moving parts.

No word regarding local availability as of publsihing time.
