Fresh off announcing the V9 last March, smartphone brand Vivo recently held a grand launch and mall tour of their newest smartphone in the Philippines last April 21 at SM Mall of Asia. Joining the grand launch was Qualcomm Marketing Manager Dominikus Susanto, along with one of the hottest love teams in the Philippines – Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla (aka KathNiel).
The mall tour drew in a large crowd of Vivo and KathNiel fans, as they packed SM Mall of Asia for a change to see their idols and win a V9 of their own. Buyers of the Vivo V9 during the event also had a meet and greet with the two actors.
The Vivo V9 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor, which promises longer battery life, enhanced photography, and superior performance. Qualcomm’s Dominikus Susanto held a quick presentation of the Snapdragon’s 626’s features during the event.
Vivo Philippines’ VP for Sales, Hazel Bascon, also took the stage to thank their customers for the V9’s success. Vivo’s latest smartphone received over 18,000 pre-orders in just a few days after its launch last March 22.
Finally, Vivo Philippines Brand Director, Annie Lim, announced Vivo’s partnership with YouTube for YouTube FanFest 2018, which will take place in May.
