Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and the Galaxy Z Flip3 5G Launched!

Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold3 and the Galaxy Z Flip3 today. Both smartphones are here and they both feature the same form factor as the predecessor but of course, there are a lot of new features and improvements that were done on both smartphones.

First, both smartphones now feature an IPx8 water resistance which means that both smartphones can survive if they are submerged in water up to 1m. Aside from that, both smartphones are now tougher with their armor aluminum body and Gorilla Glass Victus. For the foldable displays, they’re promising an 80% more durable film compared to the predecessor. For the processor, both smartphones will run on the powerful Snapdragon 888 processor which is one of the best in the industry right now, and also stereo speakers on both smartphones and I’m pretty sure that gamers would love that.

For the Galaxy Z Flip3, the smartphone comes with the same 6.7-inch display but this time, we’re getting here a 120Hz display and for the outer display, it’s 4x bigger with a 1.9-inch Super AMOLED cover screen so it can display bigger content on the smartphone. It also comes with a dual-lens rear camera with 12MP Dual Pixel AF OIS main camera along with 12MP ultra wide camera with both cameras featuring Super Clear Glass with Gorilla Glass DX.

The Galaxy Z Fold3 comes with a lot more features. First, the smartphone now supports S Pen but this one is different as the Galaxy Z Fold3 only supports the S Pen Fold Edition that doesn’t come with Bluetooth and it’s more ergonomic. But the big upgrade here is that the smartphone comes with the first under-display camera for a foldable display so you can have an uninterrupted viewing on the smartphone. Not only that because both the cover display and also the foldable display of the smartphone will now support a 120Hz refresh rate and yes, but it will also come with a Dolby Atmos speaker.

For the camera, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 will come with a 12MP triple camera setup that consists of ultrawide, wide, and also a telephoto camera. It will still come with a 10MP selfie camera on the cover display of the smartphone while the foldable display will come with a 4MP under-display camera.
