The Moto X line is now gone in favor of the all-new Moto Z and Moto Z Force. Both smartphones pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED displays. However, the difference between the two is that the Moto Z packs a thinner design while the Moto Z Force has a bigger battery, better camera and a Shatter Shield Screen.
The main selling point of these phones is its support for MotoMods. These are modular accessories that you can snap on the back of the phones that includes a JBL Soundboost Speaker that adds two 3W speaker to your phone, an Incipio Offgrid powerpack for an additional battery and an InstaShare projector which adds a pico-projector to your smartphone.
Here’s a short video about the Moto Mods
The Moto Z is incredibly thin at just 5.2mm however, the smartphone ditched the 3.5mm audio jack in favor of a thin design so yeah, you’ll have to rely on its USB Type-C for audio or a bluetooth speaker/headset.
The smartphones will be available in the US and it will soon arrive in other countries soon.
