ASUS ROG has officially announced that the ASUS ROG Ally X will be launched soon in their recent tease at their YouTube Channel. It will have the same processor inside, the Z1 Extreme, but it will have some more new features inside.
The ASUS ROG Ally X will have the AMD Z1 extreme processor inside and it will still have a 7-inch display wiht a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the Ally X will have a bigger battery inside and also a larger storage inside with support for M.2 2280 SSD slot.
It should be more repairable as well with a rearranged motherboard with moving of the SD card slot which has plagued the current ROG Ally with a lot of overheating and broken microSD card issues.
The ASUS ROG Ally X is expected to be unveiled to the public this June 2nd.
