Hi! Nico Guarte here! I went to a Kata event a few weeks ago and they launched their newest Quad-core phone, the Kata i2! It is the successor of the Kata i1. Why don’t you check out what’s in it for us after the break!.
Kata i2 is a Dual SIM smarthone with 5-inch qHD (960×540) IPS Display (220ppi) running on a 1.2GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6589 Processor along with PowerVR SGX544MP GPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of Internal Storage, MicroSD Slot up to 32GB, WiFi, HSPA+, A-GPS & EPO Assistance, 2200mAh battery, 8 MP AF Camera w/ LED Flash, 2 MP Front Camera, and Bluetooth 2.1. The Kata i2 is running on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean.
I love the build and the form factor of this phone. It doesn’t feel like it is made up of cheap plastic at all especially the back cover with the Kata Logo. The device was easy to hold despite having a 5-inch display thanks to the thin bezel.
Both of the cameras are Great. It is almost a perfect selfie machine but there’s one LED Flash only but it performs well at low light conditions. The Kata i2 is running on a Vanilla Jellybean UI (Default system UI) and you can feel the blazing performance, so responsive, much faster. Wow- *ahem*. I tried to play the preloaded Dead Trigger and there was no lags and crashes.
This is a must-have Quad-core Phone. It has a good balance in both performance and Design/form factor. This is priced at Php 7,699 (Introductory Price) / Php10,999 (Suggested Retail Price). So what are you Waiting For? It’s out now at the Owtel Shop (Starmall EDSA)!
