Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro arrive in the Philippines

Xiaomi brings the all-new Xiaomi 12 Series flagship smartphones to the Philippines. And with the official launch, Filipino fans can now get a professional-like videography and photography experience.

The new Xiaomi 12 Pro bags a jaw-dropping camera setup, consisting of a 50MP wide-angle lens, 50MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, and another 50MP telephoto sensor. For selfies, it comes with a 32MP in-display snapper.

In addition, its 50MP primary shooter equipped it with an 8K recording capability. What makes it more special is its Sony IMX707 ultra-large main sensor. This delivers large amounts of light and enables advanced imaging capabilities with faster focus speeds and enhanced color accuracy.

Xiaomi also armed the device with AI abilities, apart from its impressive hardware. For instance, Xiaomi ProFocus intelligently identifies and tracks objects, allowing users to capture moving subjects. It also has an Ultra Night Video feature, enabling more precise shots under extreme low-light.

Other notable features include its 6.73-inch WQHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, LiquidCool Technology, and a 4,600mAh battery with up to 67W Turbo Charging.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 12 is also banking on great photography and videography features, although it provides users with slightly toned-down offerings.

The same 8K recording feature is also present in the regular variant, including the Pro’s AI capabilities. However, Xiaomi complemented its 50MP primary shooter with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 5MP telemacro sensor. The device has a 32MP selfie snapper, too.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 12 flashes a smaller 6.28-inch FHD+ screen, supporting up to a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, the device has Dolby Vision and HDR 10+ support.
Under the hood, Xiaomi loaded it with the same chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB internal storage.

XIAOMI 12 SERIES PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

The Xiaomi 12 Series will be available in the Philippines beginning March 24. Consumers can score the Xiaomi 12 Pro for the price of Php48,999, while the Xiaomi 12 has an SRP of Php39,999.

Meanwhile, customers who will pre-order the series at Xiaomi’s official online and authorized retail stores will also score amazing freebies from March 24 to April.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro will receive a FREE Mi TV P1 43-inch TV, while those pre-ordering the regular variant will get a FREE Mi TV P1 32-inch model. However, Xiaomi announced that freebies are subject to stock availability.
