Uber Philippines has just defied the order of LTFRB and they just resumed their services in Metro Manila and Cebu. According to Uber, they’ve filed a motion for reconsideration with the LTFRB due to the overwhelming response of riders and drivers.
LTFRB has imposed a suspension on the ride-sharing service for one month and many netizens enraged with this move.
According to Atty. Aileen Lizada of LTFRB, they’ll continue the suspension order despite the motion for reconsideration and they asked both the MMDA and HPG to apprehend Uber Drivers who are still using the service.
