Meta has just unveiled the Meta Quest 3s at the yearly Connect 2024 event. This is their newest mixed reality headset that offers the same performance of the Meta Quest 3 but still affordable at $300.
The Meta Quest 3S will be available in two variants — 128GB and 256GB which you can get for $300 and $400 respectively.
The Quest 3S will be part of the Quest 3 family with the 512GB Quest 3 still the best headset in the family. The Quest ecosystem will also be improved with the Meta Horizon OS being rebuilt to support 2D apps such as YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. They have added spatial audio as well to better compete with other headsets.
The Meta Quest 3S will still be compatible with the apps and games that are already available including the exclusive games. The Meta Quest 3S is available for pre-order now with the following prices:
- Meta Quest 3S (128GB) — $299.99 USD
- Meta Quest 3S (256GB) — $399.99 USD
