OPPO teases 64MP periscope camera on Reno 10 Pro+ for Indian market

OPPO is generating excitement among Indian consumers with its latest teaser for the Reno 10 Pro+ model. The company is particularly highlighting the remarkable 64MP periscope zoom camera.

The highlight of the OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ is its advanced 64MP f/2.5 periscope zoom camera. This cutting-edge camera boasts a half-inch (1/2″) sensor and 0.7µm pre-binned pixels. It offers a 3x optical zoom capability, with an impressive 120x hybrid zoom option that allows users to capture highly detailed and magnified shots. Aside from the exceptional periscope camera, the OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ is expected to feature a 50MP f/1.8 main camera equipped with a Sony IMX890 sensor measuring 1/1.56″. This primary camera is optimized to capture clear and vibrant images in various lighting conditions. Complementing the main camera, the device is anticipated to house an 8MP IMX355 sensor with a 1/4″ size, serving as a secondary camera. For impressive selfie capabilities, OPPO has integrated a 32MP front-facing camera into the Reno10 Pro+.

Global Launch with Potential Variations

OPPO initially unveiled the Reno 10 series in China, comprising three models: Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+. These devices are expected to launch globally, including in India. However, there might be some variations in the specifications for the Indian market. For instance, the Pro model may substitute the Dimensity 8200 chipset with the Snapdragon 778G. This move would provide users with powerful processing capabilities and enhanced performance.

Potential Specifications for the Pro+

Should the Indian variant of the Reno 10 Pro+ adopt similar specifications, consumers can anticipate a device featuring a 6.74-inch 120Hz OLED display. Under the hood, it could also house the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, accompanied by up to 16GB of RAM. The smartphone is likely to be equipped with a sizable 4,700mAh battery. This supports 100W fast charging, ensuring quick and convenient recharging.

Meanwhile, as the Indian launch of the OPPO Reno 10 series approaches, stay tuned for more updates regarding the official launch date, pricing, and availability.
