Call of Duty Black Ops 6 First Impressions

We have been a big fan of Call of Duty games for years now, especially the Black Ops series due to its timeline and story. The latest one that is set to arrive this Fall is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and we just had fun playing the game during its multiplayer beta test.

There were only a few maps that are available in the game for the core moshpit including Derelic, Rewind, Scud and Skyline. With this, it’s a 6v6 team game in which you complete your objective for the map and you just kill the enemies.

It’s non-stop fun

Playing Black Ops 6 was fun and the game was polished already despite being on open beta test and the similar formula of Call of Duty games has definitely worked in Black Ops 6. The game is easy to grasp even for new players and it’s fun to play with even if you’re not a seasoned FPS player.

In my experience with the Core Moshpit mode, I had fun playing the game in the 4 available maps. The thing that I like about these maps is also probably the reason I would easily grow tired of it in the future. It’s easy to memorize and small nonetheless, the maps were fun to play with and it’s pretty balance for most gamers.

The gunplay experience

The gunplay and also the sliding across the map is probably one of the signatures of the Call of Duty franchise. Again, the game is easy to grasp so the gunplay in the game can be easily learned along with the killstreak rewards in the game.

If you have been playing the game on mobile, some of the elements in the game would be familiar to you or you can easily learn from it. Unlike other games, the mechanics and also the gunplay in the game can be easily learned in just a few games.

Operators and guns

There are different operators that you can play with in the open beta test of the game and there are selected guns and loadouts that you can choose with and customize based on your liking. But of course, different guns and loadouts means that you’ll have the ability to be flexible in game. For COD veterans, this is already a piece of cake and has been part of the game for a while now.

Minimum requirements

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 isn’t that demanding but it requires a decent GPU and also a LOT of storage for your PC. In my case, I was using my Lenovo Legion 7i Slim and it can handle the game pretty well.

Verdict

In our short playtime during the open beta test of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, we definitely had fun with it. It might be repetitive to some people but the game is definitely fun to play with. It’s not a perfect game as I find some people camping and might find it annoying for some new players but this is definitely part of the COD experience.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on different platforms including Playstation, Xbox, Microsoft Store, and Steam. You can also subscribe to PC Game Pass to get access to the game.
